In this morbid French melodrama Corinne plays a New Wave style (ie. clown make-up wearing) pop singer. Think Alison Moyet maybe, or Hazel O'Connor. She's the sister of the protagonist, and a very good sister she makes too: amusing, affectionate, independent. And shapely, but not so skinny she couldn't survive extended periods without food.

All in all then, a low maintenance sort of girl. So what our man is doing bathing her in milk is beyond me. Typical of a Frenchman to take things too far. Corinne (who had to interrupt her colouring-in for this) tries to look pleased but does not convince. A tragic accident with the electrical fittings sees her brother packing her body into the nearest suitable container (a double bass case) and lugging it about the country on a road trip of self-discovery.
