Reviews and pictures of actress Cristina Galbó naked in "La amante ingenua", "Las adolescentes", "El último guateque", and 2 more titles.
Born: 1950 Country: Spain
A slim and pretty starlet who radiated a calm and mature innocence. She featured in the better class of European exploitation films, specialising in level-headed young types like nuns and school prefects.
Cristina Galbo (born January 17, 1950) was an actress of some moderate fame in Europe during the late 1960s and early 1970s, who made a name for herself in film mostly for European horror vehicles. Arguably her best role is as "Elizabeth Seccles", a boarding school girl having an affair with a married professor of Italian and gymnastics, in the 1972 Massimo Dallamano shocker What Have You Done to Solange?. A recent DVD release of her 1975 film The Killer Must Kill Again, the most notable work of Luigi Cozzi (a friend and associate of giallo film master Dario Argento) has presented her controversial work in that more obscure representative of the Italian horror genre. Cozzi mentions on his DVD commentary for the film how Galbo was uncomfortable with the film's most disturbing scene, the killer's rape of her kidnapped and abused character. Galbo also has a significant role in another boarding school shocker, The House That Screamed, Narcisco Ibanez's 1969 Spanish film (La Residencia). snippet from Wikipedia

From an excellent Italian WiP-flick. Cristina plays a junior nun, whose chief role in the prison seems to be as Communal Shower Monitor, which is established in an early scene that is somewhat longer than it strictly needs to be. Maybe we can take another look at it one day.
A special treat of a film show is organised for the prisoners, and they repay the kindness by starting a riot. Hardened women criminals tear off Cristina's robes and leave her naked, frightened and humiliated. This scene is a cut above the hackneyed Franco-esque WiP nonsense, and genuinely powerful and shocking stuff.

Intriguing potboiler in which shy Spanish girl Koo Stark sweet-talks her father into wangling her a place at a leading English boarding school for girls. The 'intriguing' part being that the uniforms, interiors and school routines have been re-created (presumably in a Spanish studio) with a forensic eye for detail. The role of Head Girl falls naturally to our Cristina. A wonderful young woman, she knows how to keep order but still can appreciate a joke, even one at her expense, and even a slightly rude one, so long as it's suitably hilarious.
We catch up with the cream of the Fifth Form as they dash out of the shower after PE (vigorous outdoor bending and stretching exercises in case you were wondering). Leading the way is Victoria Vera (I think), followed by Susan Player, and (I've only just noticed) Cristina's little sister Beatriz. But alas new girl Koo's clothes have all gone missing! Enter Cristina looking every inch the junior gym mistress. If you assume every older girl in these kind of films must be a predatory lesbian you'll be thinking now is her moment to pounce! Shame on you.
There's really nothing to it. Cristina takes Koo back to her room where she slips off her tracksuit and puts the kettle on. If only all films could be as sensible as this one.

Spanish comedy about a divorced man wishing to re-marry on account of getting some random blonde who looks good in a bikini up the duff. The humour derives from our hero being half downtrodden victim of a matriarchal society, and half walking scandal. The blonde is left by the wayside as he takes up with his dazzling physiotherapist after an accident.
And then the dazzling nurse is out-dazzled by none other than chummy's own sister Cristina when he happens to glimpse her out walking with another man. There's nothing like a spot of jealousy to make you aware of who's closest to your own heart is there? And she's not just a picture of loveliness either; she's a shining example of the best in manners and decorum. Observe a textbook example of how a good sister should behave after being walked in on in only her skimpy knickers by an idiot older sibling.
# El último guateque (Juan José Porto, 1978) (featuring Cristina Galbó as Maribel aged 28) ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭
Cristina stars in this dystopian 'sixties-set Spanish coming of age drama. I'm going to call every film dystopian from now on by the way if it features heavenly, moon-faced Cristina in any role other than someone's sister, first cousin, or - at a pinch - head of dormitory at a leading school for girls.
Maybe with one exception: wholesome romances where Cristina is 'the girl' and the handsome clean-limbed hero 'gets' her. Ideally she should walk through the door and straight into our man's arms to be blissfully happy forever with barely a moment of time intervening. But it doesn't quite work out on this occasion; there's a sort of Schalcken the Painter type ending, complete with the confusing editing which prevails throughout the film. A grey-haired old lady appears in the middle of the big love scene for example. Cristina has a wonderful way with old people incidentally; she lets Grandma think she's getting her own way staying up to watch television, knowing this newfangled device will conveniently cover the noises the young couple will be making upstairs.

Horribly cheap and wooden Spanish dystopian crime melodrama in which lovely secretary Cristina accompanies her middle-aged pen-pushing boss on a dirty weekend in France. Sadly she gives a poor account of herself: smoking, getting drunk, even crashing the car.
This evening she tries the patience of her distinguished-handsome beau by drinking too much at dinner. Hauling the tired and emotional girl (or rather woman - time and career have moved on) up to their shared hotel room this poor man's only consolation is that this is a romantic escapade and not an important business trip. Before she can slip her pert and tiny breasts any further out of her evening dress (he's afraid there may be more than two) our man takes charge. Dashing for his emergency medical bag he pulls out a stethoscope - the least you can do for an unwell Cristina short of bothering an actual hospital. Only it isn't a stethoscope, just more drink to poor down her throat. It's amazing how quickly you can go off some people.
The story moves on, and we discover Cristina absolutely slumming it in the bath. The doorbell rings, so naturally she has to haul herself out of the tub, fairly modestly, not even pausing to rinse off the soapsuds. The young man at the door is none other than Bill from Tragic Ceremony, Spanish cinema's greatest crybaby. So the beating he hands out to Cristina (something about blackmail over photographs I think) is not only squalid and ridiculous but unconvincing too. It's hard to think of a comparison - maybe being bog-flushed by Justin Bennett from Grange Hill. He only won because characterisation demanded Cristina enjoy being raped.
