Linda had done something as similarly minimalistic with avant garde director Dwoskin in Girl (1971). The cumulative impact of this one is devastating. Linda plays a stripper in a seedy Soho club whose audience finally run out of patience and in a show of violence expose what the act of voyeurism is really all about. This clip is just the ending; the whole striptease lasts over an hour.
